Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

What is PTA? (from the WSPTA website)
Founded in 1905, the Washington Congress of Parents and Teachers, now known as the Washington State Parent Teacher Association (WSPTA), is the largest non-profit, volunteer organization in Washington. As the premier parent organization, with over 100,000 members in more than 875 local PTAs, the association is an innovative, forward-thinking, and effective advocate for children.
Our vision is that every child’s potential becomes a reality.
Our mission is for PTA to be:
- A powerful voice for children,
- A relevant resource for families, schools and communities, and
- A strong advocate for the well-being and education of all children.
When you join your local Parent Teacher Association (PTA) or Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), you become part of our state association and the larger National PTA. Your voice joins tens of thousands across Washington and millions across the United States, including the U.S. Virgin Islands, Europe and Puerto Rico, as advocates for children.

Get Updates from Evergreen Heights PTA:
Download the Remind app that many of our school's teachers are using for classroom updates. Then, join our PTA remind group using code @HG72K4B (text “join” to 81010). We will use the Remind group to send updates, meeting reminders, and call for volunteers.
We have also asked for email address from members when they join so we can send messages about planning and volunteering for specific events to those who are interested.
