Joining the PTA
What does it mean to join the PTA?
When you come to meetings, you will hear:
- Updates from the principle
- Learn about upcoming PTA planned school events
- Propose and vote on how the PTA will spend funds
- Calls for volunteers for event planning
- We also hope to use meetings to build community, by building in time before and after the meeting time for some socializing for those that want to meet other parents at Evergreen Heights.
What would you like to see from the PTA? Please join us at a meeting and give us your input!

Membership Fee
This year our membership fee is $20 for one parent and $30 for a couple. Most of the fee goes toward the WA State PTA dues, and the rest goes into our Evergreen Heights PTA general fund.

If you prefer not to join online, we also have a form that can be filled out and returned with payment. Printed copies are available from the school office, or you can download an electronic copy. Payment can be made by cash, check or the Venmo app. Please see the form for details.

Is money tight?
We do not want the membership fee to be a barrier for anyone who wants to be a part of our PTA. If you are unable to afford the fee, please contact our Treasurer to inquire about membership scholarships. To date, we have always been able to provide enough gift memberships for those that need them.
Your participation is more important to us than your fee!
Additional Member Benefits
Member benefits are offered to all Washington State PTA members. To learn more about these discounts, go to the benefits and discount codes page. Some resources require a username and password. Contact us for that, or if you signed up for membership using the link at the top of the page, a confirmation email should have the username and password sent to your email. Thank you!
